Great Food and Service
Lancer catered my daughter’s wedding at Como Zoo on May 30, 2015. Both the hors d’oeuvres and the dinners were delicious. Everyone was raving about how great the food and service was. Mindy, our contact person with Lancer, was so patient and accommodating. She was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process extremely easy. I would highly recommend Lancer!

Food Was Amazing
We used Lancer Catering for our wedding on 5/15/15 at Como Zoo. Their food is amazing! We had the chicken, steak, and walleye. Everyone loved the food and said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! I wish they had a restaurant so we could have their food more often, its that good!

We had our wedding on 6/20/14 in the Sunken Garden. It was a beautiful day outside, but not wanting to chance the weather we opted for the indoor location. While it was a bit steamy inside (we warned guests ahead of time to dress appropriately), the gardens were gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. The staff was very helpful setting things up ahead of time with me and then being on-site. Como says that you can fit 90 people in the Sunken Garden, but with our guest list of 40 it felt quite full. Your guests must stand (a few chairs are provided if you ask ahead of time), and there is wheelchair access if needed. Beware due to the humidity some musicians do not like to play this venue (we had a classical guitarist who used his ‘outdoor’ guitar for the ceremony which was not a problem!). One downside is that there isn’t really a waiting room area for bride and groom, but we made it work with me hiding out by the restroom area and the groom greeting guests as they arrived.
