So wonderful!
My (now) husband and I decided to have our wedding the day after Christmas. My husband is active duty military and a Christmas wedding was the only option for him to get time off. I was nervous that planning a wedding around a major holiday and in the depths of Minnesota winter was going to be next to impossible. The Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport made the impossible – possible! I couldn’t have been luckier to work with the wedding coordinator Brittany Cekalla. She was incredibly accommodating and easy to get in contact with via email or telephone. I chose a package at the Embassy where Brittany pretty much coordinated all aspects of the reception for us – the set-up, table decor, food, DJ, drinks, late night snack (Chicago-style hot dogs), and tear down. Brittany was also full of suggestions on vendors for photography, limo service, and flowers. We actually went with all the vendors she suggested and were incredibly pleased. One really nice aspect of having the wedding at the Embassy Suites was the ability to bring in our own wine (and only have to pay a small corkage fee). Our guests were extremely comfortable all night and it was really nice to have the reception right at the hotel where they stayed. We could not be more thankful to Brittany and the Embassy Suites management and staff for helping make our wedding day so wonderful. Definitely a wedding to remember!

The food and service was amazing. Everyone warned us that things will go wrong and to just be prepared, but nothing went wrong everything went as planned and it was perfect!

The Embassy Suites Bloomington site is a beautiful place. We had our ceremony in the atrium and the reception in the ballroom. everything turned out amazing and the people you work with through the hotel, floral, and cheesecake are so nice and really easy to work with.

The best decision I made was booking with Embassy Suites Bloomington. Our wedding went flawlessly there on January 2nd. We had both the ceremony and reception there and it flowed seamlessly. The hotel had the ceremony in the ballroom, and then we had an appetizer hour in the atrium (newly renovated and gorgeous!) as they set up the ballroom for dinner and dancing.
The value of the hotel for weddings is wonderful. We did the sapphire package and that included salad, entree, wedding cake from Buttercream Bakery (yum!!), open bar and butler passed hors d’oeuvres during the appetizer hour, and all our floral centerpieces (they use Bachman’s). It’s a great deal for the per person amount they charge you. Additionally, they also provided a room for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the morning of the wedding and gave my husband and I a room for our wedding night as an added bonus.
I worked with Allie on the wedding and she was AMAZING. She responded to all my questions the same day, always was asking what else she could help with, and really made my wedding day as stress-free as possible. She did it all–set up, tear down, worked with my vendors, etc. My wedding day was wonderful because Allie and her team allowed me and my husband to just enjoy the evening as they took care of everything. All my guests commented on how incredibly the night flowed and how great the hotel was for the occasion!
