The ballroom at The Van Dusen Mansion has a lavish interior space that can accommodate 200 guests for a seated dinner and 350 guests for a cocktail reception. The interior space features hardwood floors, Victorian furniture, glistening chandeliers and rich woodwork throughout that will complement any elegant wedding theme. Mr. Van Dusen was an entrepreneur who founded the first and most prosperous grain firm in 1883, and the estate remained with his family for decades. After being abandoned around 1940, a heroic investor saved the mansion from being demolished and restored it back to its original splendor.
